A huge thank you to Judy & Sandy Cross and all the members of Musicale Choir group for nominating the Manx MSA Trust as their Charity of the Year 2016 / 17 and donating the amazing amount of £500.
Musicale was founded in 1987 and perform in concerts on and off Island and also perform many concerts for various charities on the Island.
Chris Blake, Founder and Niall Carey, Head of Communcations attend their meeting on Wednesday evening, 15th November at Union Mills Church, where they presented the cheque for £500.
Niall Carey commented, "we are honoured and delighted that Musicale have chosen the Manx MSA Trust as their charity of the year. Their donation will contribute towards the charity's three main objectives of providing a hub in the Isle of Man for MSA patients and families, raising awareness of MSA among the Manx medical profession & general public and supporting research into the disease"

Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurological disorder that affects adult men and women. It is caused by degeneration or atrophy of nerve cells in several (or multiple) areas of the brain which can result in problems with movement, balance and autonomic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control.
